We know you can almost picture it. After all the time you have spent looking through magazines,
clipping photos, and going to home shows, you have envisioned your dream home a million times.
Palmera Residential Design can help you bring that vision to life.
We developed our design process to
ensure that the end result represents your desires and your lifestyle. It's crucial that your home is designed for you!
That's why we ask you for more than the style of home you want or how many bedrooms you need. You are the foundation
around which your home design is built, and the better we know you, the better we can deliver a design that will allow
you to truly feel at home.
Our design process can be as flexible as you need to fit your schedule, and can be customized to your specific needs.

At this first meeting we learn about what you want in your new home. This is the first and probably the most important phase of the design process.
We encourage you to come to this meeting well prepared with any design requirements, and any visual references or ideas. We will learn about your lifestyle and criteria for the design. Also, factors discussed at this time include: layout, square footage, style, materials and site considerations.

During this phase we will prepare rough sketches in 1/8” scale drawings of floor plan and elevations. The designer will develop two ideas for your house based on your input, and then you can select your choice. We will then modify the layout as necessary to create an exquisite design meeting your needs and budget.
We will have consultations as necessary to fully meet your wishes in the design, and make as many changes/revisions as are needed to your satisfaction. At this time, there will be no charges for any required revisions, and we will submit any revised PDF proofs to you upon your request.

After you have had a reasonable time (usually 14 days) to review your new home plan, we will meet to discuss any enhancements. At this point, we will be fine-tuning specifics, such as flooring, niches, ceiling details and window details. Your approval at this stage authorizes us to proceed to working drawings.
Your final design drawings should be reviewed with your builder for budget proposals.
